Assalamualaikum and greeting to all,
26-30 march 2007, ISOC RCSI has successfully organized the Islamic Awareness Week. Great stuff. Alhamdulillah Thanks to all the juniors who are really dedicated with their job. MasyaAllah. We have Healthy Food Day, Movie, Netball, Hijab day and Futsal. Alhamdulillah, Praise be to Allah. Hope the great job and spirit won’t stop

its already a week past…just want to tell ya story about my weekend in sheffield games 2007..this time so many ppl from dublin join the games..basketball,netball,volleyball,futsal and badminton of course..hehe..so arrived at doncaster airport..then take bus, train and tram with day tripper…the journey has breathtaking view..very much serene and calm..plus go with my badminton mate…simpson n mike..luckily the racket we checked in was intact..
the next day..is the games day..as usual..badminton started late because of netball again..seems my opponent last yr didnt join..should be a good opportunity..and yeah..it is..i was drawn to a group relative easy compare to other…my other frens join group which is tougher but i still hope they pass the stage..unfortunately they’re not..the games has limited time..so during semifinal..i was trailing many time and quite nervous if i cant catch up coz of the time..i remain calm..heheh..
still remember…my opponent did some trick to me..what the heck!..then i did the same trick back to him..hahaha…luckily..both of the set i won by few point last minute as i always trailing…once ive done my game..i still saw another semifinal still playing..and i already know they will get tired..
my opponent who is same batch with me brought her wife together as they married last year..got some guilty if i beat him..but yeah..dublin name must be uphold..hahaha..i won quite easily first set but 2nd set i did lots of mistake and trailing..eventually..i won again few point last minute..Alhamdulillah…got gold medal for single badminton!!
overall, Alhamdulillah again..i got a fairly easy route to final..unlike my opponent who already struggle since start..credit to them…and Alhamdulillah..Thanks to Allah..as i just recovered my foot kind like blister few weeks before..if not i dont think i will make it this far..really rezeki for me..and thanks to simpson as they encourage me to bring my racket checked in…quite dangerous but it’s safe though..hehe..
next day..journey from sheffield to doncaster airport again…i did some gentleman thing in the bus..hahaha..it’s good feeling when u did good deed..okay guys…now our mission is next week intervarsity at waterford!!!!….make RCSI proud..mental discipline…hahaha..cheers..
Alhamdulillah…a great day..very motivating..hehe..yesterday i got clinical observation..but the intern that i supposed to shadow is not in the list..so went to find the replacement..met Ms Audrey Clarke in ERC..she gave me 2 doctors..but went i bleep..no answer..and since I and another girl was waiting..a doctor who noticed us gave brief tutorial outside library..then he suggest us to meet his patient at the ward..after he finish teaching..thought of goin to ward together with that girl..but she straight talking in phone..
waiting for few minutes..she seemed dont care..then there’s the turning point..luckily, i met Ms Audrey again in front of library..how fortunate..then asked her i couldnt find any doctor..she later look at the list and tell me i can choose any intern..WOW!!..that’s so fun..the day begin now..hehe..
i just went alone to A&E..i wait at the reception..lucky again..i met Ms Audrey..asked her where i should wait..she brought me inside the A&E..hahah..she was very helpful…standing and sitting waiting for doctor..now i felt the real work..looking at the patient..nurse and doctor doin their work..some teaching student too..
al last..Dr Smita arrived…she’s very nice lady…even during i bleep her previously..she’s sound friendly..then she asked me to do history taking to a patient..at first she said do i want to take blood..but i think i need to practice first..but yeah..next time if i got opportunity..ill do it..hahaha..lesson that time..i need to improve my interviewing skill…
later..follow her to few places like radiography, ct scan etc..got some mixed up of patient profile..huhu..must have rectify now i think…the best part is..she said just bleep her anytime…hehe..too bad next week will be quite busy..forgot to tell ya all…i play badminton always with her boyfriend..haha..
alrite..enough for now..get to study…moral of story..always proactive..may Allah guides and gives us strength anywhere anytime..amiinn…
